PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES IN SEFTON
(28.02-04.03.2011)

A group of six people took part in professional practices in British educational institutions. During the stay the teachers got to know the system of education in Great Britain, participated in classes for pupils and families. They made many important observations, on the basis of which it has been stated that it is required to:

  • broaden the range of multisensory impacts in the educational process,
  • involve parents and caretakers in the activities of educational and welfare institutions,
  • intensify the influence of school concerning the cooperation with educationally inefficient parents,
  • provide pregnant women with social and educational care,
  • " increase the number of supporting teachers in all kinds of educational and welfare institutions, especially in the first stage of education,
  • get financial funds for equipping classrooms and therapeutic studies.
