THE START OF THE FIRST COMENIUS REGIO PROJECT IN MAZOVIA (August 2010)

Families and Schools Together in European Regions is a project dealing with the problem of social exclusion. It will be realised from 2010 to 2012 by:

  • Municipality of Radom,
  • Radomski Teacher Training Centre
  • Public Primary School No.17,
  • Sefton Children Schools and Families,
  • Linaker Primary School,
  • St Oswalds Church of England Primary School,
  • Sefton Primary Care Trust.

The aim of the project is creating a lasting relationship between Sefton Schools and Families and educational institutions in Radom. The purpose of the partnership is improvement of social cohesion by supporting both regions in their work with educationally inefficient families. International actions will significantly influence school standards, which in turn will have an impact on childrens achievements. The introduced methods will make innovative attitude to education of families easier. Local authorities of partner cities will create procedures to enable organization of professional practices as well as research projects.
