The beneficiary of the project "Schools and families together in the European regions", implemented within Comenius Regio Partnerships is Municipality of Radom. The partners are Public Primary School No. 17 and Radom Teacher Training Centre. The project was launched in August 2010 in collaboration with a British consortium consisting of Sefton Children Schools and Families, Linaker Primary School, St Oswalds Church of England Primary School, Sefton Primary Care Trust. For the realisation of the tasks the beneficiary received a subsidy of 42000 EUR, with a total value of the project - 49000 EUR. There are 21 ongoing projects in Poland; Radom project is a unique one in Mazovia. In the evaluation stage the project was highly rated. The aim of the partnership is to create a lasting cooperation between the institutions of Sefton in the UK and Radom institutions. The experiences of both parties will be used to develop new ways of working with educationally vulnerable families. The tools for parents educational awareness will be created as well as resources helpful to work with children with special educational needs.
