The project covers issues which are very important for modern societies, namely social exclusion, caused by poor education and unemployment, and early school leaving. It also advocates proper teachers training (extending their competences) essential for future work in a changing educational environment.
The final goal of this project is to produce an international publication describing tools and methods that can be adapted to specific conditions and used in schools throughout Europe. The findings are expected to be helpful in working with groups to whom this project is addressed.
The main objective of the partnership is to create lasting relationships between Sefton Children Schools and Families and educational institutions in Radom. This is to support the two regions to work with educationally vulnerable families which will affect both the aspirations and achievements of pupils and raise educational standards in schools.
The experience and practice exchange programme developed between the two regions is expected to be profitable for the staff involved in the project especially for the teachers who should be able to accurately detect factors affecting early school leaving and employ measures to prevent it effectively and without delay.
